Mumbai, which is also know as Bombay, lies on the west coast of India. The best time to visit is during the month of December, January, February. January is the hottest month in Mumbai. May is the wettest month in Mumbai. The spring is very hot and the summers are wet because this is the monsoon season. The city has a population of 18 million,which makes it the largest city in India and Karachi is the smallest city in India.
