UNIT 1

My friend’s name is Hazeatul Adila Mohd Yusoff. She’s from Manjung, Perak. She is a student at UKM. She is 21 years old and is still single. She has five brothers and four sisters. She lives with her mom. Her father passed away five years ago. She is excellent in cooking especially Malay food. She also likes travel and watching TV. She hopes that she can continue her study for master level after getting her degree.


UNIT 2

To revise for an important exam, first I look at the exam schedule and syllabus. I want my schedule to be organized and not clash with other activities. Next, I make a study plan for all subjects which I will have an exam. After that, I make notes to remember the things I study before this. I make notes in diagram, table charts and mind map. Then I find a quiet place to remember the main points. Finally, I take a break when I’m satisfied and confident what I with sudy.


UNIT 3

I am a student at UKM. After my classes, I like to discuss with my friends about lecture. It only takes 10-20 minutes. After that, I go to the library to find the book for study and also for my assignments. I always study at my room. I always make notes when I study. In a week, I study about 4-6 hours. I always make a study plan for the whole week.


UNIT 4

The bank of China Tower was built by Ieoh Ming Pei between 1982 and 1990. It is located in Hong Kong. It is symbolizes for strength and growth. It is made of glass and steel. This building is modern and skyscraper. It is 367 metres high with 70 foors.

UNIT 5 M/S 19

I have a lot of activities during the summer. Every morning, I go swimming. I usually stay at home in the afternoon because the temperature at that time is very high. During thr weekend, I and my friends go to the beach and have picnics. If I have a free time or holiday, I’ll visit my family or my relatives.

UNIT 7

The most important food in my state is ‘Keropok Lekor’. All visitors which come in my state must try to eat it. People can eat ‘ Keropok Lekor’ anytime they want eat it because some stall is openfor 24 hours. ‘Keropok Lekor’ is delicious at evening when go picnics at the beach. The ingredients to make ‘Keropok Lekor’ is fish, salt and sago. They put ‘ Keropok Lekor’ in boiling water.


UNIT 8

Mumbai, which is also knows as Bombay, lies on the West Coast of India. The best time to visit is during the months of December, January, and February. The spring is very hot and the summers are wet because tih is the monsoon season. The city has a population of 18 million people. Mumbai is the largest city in India. It is famous for its very successful film industry and its port. It is also an important Commercial Centre. Mumbai was found in 1668 by British East India Company.
