BOOK EXERCISE

UNIT 1: STUDENT LIFE

My friend's name is Nik Norsalwani binti Abdul Rashid. She is my roomate. She comes from Kota Bharu, Kelantan She is a UKM student. She is studying computer programming at FTSM. Salwani has 1 brother and 2 sisters. She speaks very fluent Malay and English. During leisure time, she likes to watch TV and play computer games.

UNIT 2: DAILY ROUTINES

To revise for an important exam, first i will look at all syllabus. Then i will make a study plan. After that i will make notes about the subject while studying and i will take a break for a while. Finally i will find a quiet place to remember the main points.

UNIT 3: WRITING ABOUT STUDY HABITS

I am a student UKM. I like to study in the library after finish my class. I usually go there in the afternoon until evening. I prefer to study with my friend but at my home, i often study alone. I usually make notes when I study because it can help me to understand better. I always study for about 3 to 6 hours in a week. Actually, i never make a study plan to study.

UNIT 4: ARCHITECTURE

The Bank of China Tower was built by Ieoh Ming Pei between the years 1982 and 1990. It is located in Hong Kong. It is a very tall skyscrapers with 70 floors and had 367m high. It is made of glass and steel. The style is modern.

UNIT 5: EDUCATION

UNIT 7: FOOD, DRINK AND CULTURE

The most important food in Penang is laksa. They is really a part of Penang food. people can eat this food at many time if the day, but in most homes, they usually have it during feast.
First of al, boil water and cook the fish. After that take the fish out and reserve the fish stock and debone fish and put the flesh aside. Next, blend the fish finely and strain fish stock and cook again in a large pot. We also need to put ingredients like fish past, tamarind fruit, peppermint, gelangar, lemon grass, blended chillies and onions. Simmer until half in volume. After a few minutes add a little bit of salt to taste.
Finally pour the hot gravy into laksa noodles and serve it with garnish like lime, sliced red chillies, sliced onions and boiled eggs. It is delicious on hot day.

UNIT 8:CITIES OF THE WORLD

Mumbai which is also known as Bombay is the largest city of India. The location of Mumbai is on the west coast of India. The spiring is the hottest time and the summer is wetter than spring because of monsoon season. It also has the largest population, which is about 18 million people. One of the famous things in Mumbai is, there are very successful film industry and its port. It's also an important commercial centre. Mumbai was founded 1668 by the British East India Company. There are many species and nice place that can we see,it included Mani Bhavan Museum and Chow Patty Beach.

UNIT 9: BRAIN POWER

Most people know how to keep their bodies healthy. They should have a good diet, make a lot of exercise and do not smoke.

First of all, it is important to stay mentally active. Doing exercises for brain like solve quizzes and word puzzles and mathematical problems can keep the nerve cells sharp.
Another thing we can do is to be socially active like joining clubs, or learning new skills.
Physical activity is also important. We can do activities like rock climber, cycling and cricket. It is good for our body and brain.
Finally, we should eat a "brain- healthy" diet such as eat nutritious food, and avoid fatty food to protect the brain from disease.
