BOOK REVIEW (LITTLE WOMEN)


Assalamualaikum and good morning to Madam Hairati Abdullah and fellow friends. Today, I want to share with all of you about the book that I've read. The title of the book is Little Women. The auther of the book is Louisa M. Alcott. It has 25 pages. It is classified as a fiction book.

Little Women was about the 4 girls namely Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy. Meg was 16 years old. She was very beautiful. She had big eyes and beautiful long brown hair. She was the teacher for 4 children in the king family. The job was difficult, because the children only wanted to play. Jo was 15 years old. She was tall and thin. She had dark eyes and long brown hair. She worked at Aunt March's house. Aunt March was father's sister, but a lot of money. She liked her house because she had a lot of books. She's was hot tempeted high and Jo didn't liked her. Beth was 13 years old. She was a very quiet girl and she didn't want to go to school. She helped Hannah in the house and she had a teacher at home. She loved reading. Amy was the younger's sister. She wanted to school every day. They had lovering parents they were very happy. Her mother's name was Mrs. March. She was a cheerful person. Hannah was a maid in the house.

But they were unhappy because they didn't have any money for Christmas Day. Jo said, they didn't have a futher. He's away in the war and didn't come home for the christmas. Mrs. March read their father's letter to her sons. He wrote " give my love and a kiss to my little women. A year a long time, but I thought of them everyday.

On the christmas morning, they found 4 books under their bed. They felt really happy with their presents and it's was from their lovely mother. They ran downstairs to thank their mother. They asked their maid, Hannah, "where's mother? Meg asked, Hannah answered thatbshe didn't know because their mother went out every early.

After a while, their mother come back. She said that she went to Mrs. Hummel's house. Mrs. Hummel has 7 small children but she didn't had any food ang they're very cold. Although they were really hungry but they took the food to the Hummel's house. Then, they gave a present to their mother and she happy with it.

During the christmas evening, the girls friends came. There were a lot of food and some fruit and candy. The children asked, " Where did all this came from? Beth said that it's from Santa Claus. Their mother said that it's from Mr. Laurence. Mr. Laurence gave it to they because she said that their father was a good man. He lived with his son, Laurie.

5 days later, the giris got an invitation from Mrs. Gardiner to a small party the next evening. Before going to the party Beth and Amy helped Meg and Jo with their dresses and their hair. Jo didn't go to the party because there was a burn on her good dress.

At the party, Jo met Laurie and he asked Jo to dance with him but Jo won't because the a burn on her dress. After the party, Jo and Meg went home and they were felt really happy. They told Amy and Meg everythings about the party and Laurie.

On day, Jo looked up at the Laurences big house. Then, Lauren invited Jo came in his house and they talked. Jo said to Laurie's come and visited as you can meet mother and my sisters.

After this visit, March girls often played at Laurie's house and he came to their home. Beth often played the piano there. Besides, Mr. Laurence liked listenig to Beth music and he said that Larie's mother also good in piano. Then, Laurie's family and Mrs. March family became good friends.

On day, Mrs. March got a letter told that the girls father was sick. So, their mother went to looked up their father's condition and to leave her daughters. After a few days, Beth was sick and Jo sent a letter to their mother to tell her about Beth. In the conclution, Beth was recovered from her sick and their parents back home and they had a happy life.
