FOREST GUMP.....

FOREST GUMP ( WINSTON GROOM )

Forest Gump talked about a young man who became a footballer, a film star, a businessman and he went into space. His name is Forest Gump. Forest Gump was born an idiot but he think he is cleverer. When he was born, his father was died and his mother named him Forest.

In the secondary school, the children didn’t liked him. But only one girl, Jenny Curran didn’t ran away from him. They became friend. Forest started to played football with the high school and Coach Fellers helped him. One day, he went to the cinema with Jenny. When he laughed a lot, people looked at him and Jenny. Jenny was very shy and she got down lower and lower in her her place and when Forest want to put her shoulder, he pulled Jenny dress and it came open. Jenny screamed. A few minutes later, the police came and took Forest to the police station. Next day, a letter from university arrived. It is a good news when university want Forest to played football with their team.

In the university, Forest started to played football. The first football game Forest won. Everybody was pleased with him. At night, Forest went back to his room and he heard music from somewhere. He found a young man, Bubba in his room and playing the harmonica. Forest tried to play it.

On Friday night, Forest had a big game. His team was loser. After he left the school, he became an army and he should went to Vietnam. The enemy started shooting at us and blew up one of their helicopter. In the jungle, someone started shooting them. Bubba was became a victim in the shooting and he died.

A few day later, Forest was at the hospital for two month because his leg was sick. After he went back from hospital, Colonel Gooch said to Forest to go back to America to saw the President of the United States and the President want to gave him a medal because Forest is very brave.


Soon after that, he met again with Jenny. Forest should went to space. Forest decided to sent to NASA – that’s the space centre at Houtson in Texas. One day, Forest went to the bar and he started to arm-wrestled a man in the bar and he was won some money on a bet. On the another day, Forest played chess with old man. The old man’s name Mr. Tribble. Mrs. Tribble said Forest is a good player. After that, Forest went back to his home again and he began of his shrimps business. He works very hard. At the same time Jenny was married two years ago.
