Please help me to check and correct my summary::-)
This is my book review. The title is Leonardo Dicaprio.
Leonardo was born in 1974. Leo and his parents lived in California. Then, they had some problems and his father,George, moved away from the family's home.But his father still visited him every day. Leo and his mother lived in the bad street in Hollywood. Later, Leo and his mother moved to a new home.
His first time on tv was at five years old in the children show ''Romper Room''. He always wanted to play, so the producers were angry to him. After that, he wasn't on television again for nine years. At fourteen years old, he got a part in a television commercial for ''Matchbox Cars''. After that, he had a small parts in some famous television shows-Lessie, Roseanne and The Outsiders.
There was a women in Hollywood didn't like his name. Leo tried to use the new name 'Lenny William' but he didn't like it. He return back to Leonardo Dicaprio.
Leo wanted to try movies. He got small parts in two movies, 'Critters 3' and 'Prison Ivy'. Then, he auditioned for a new movie. The title is 'This Boy's life' with Robert De Niro and he got the part.
One of the famous movie acted by Leonardo was 'Romeo and Juliet'. The original story was by William Shakespears in 1595. Leo didn't want the part because he didn't want to be in a movies of an old story but the script was for young people today. Leo was changed his mind. He played Romeo and Claire Danes played Juliet.
The other famous movie that he acted was 'Titanic'. Titanic was about the bigship that went down in an Atlantic Ocean in 1912. Titanic wasn't only a story of a famous boat but it also a love story. Leo played Jack Dawson and Kate Winslet played Rose Bukater.
He didn't stop. He made a new movies 'The Man In The Iron Mask' and other movies. Untill now, he is still active in his job and he want to be the best superstar in the world.
